A dietitian can help guide you on your way to a more healthy way of living, as well as helping you to lose weight. A dietitian can point you in the right direction as to what healthy foods should be consumed. Eating healthy food is a big part of losing weight.

Try using the stairs. Skip the elevator, even for one floor. This might sound like it won't do much, but it actually gives you a wonderful cardio workout. This is healthy and helps with weight loss. Once you are used to walking up the stairs, try running (but be careful)!

Substitute mustard for mayonnaise. Although mayonnaise is delicious, only one teaspoon of this contains lots of fat and excess calories. You can save those calories when you use mustard instead on sandwiches. Another simple way to cut calories is to prepare and order everything without mayonnaise.

Eating cereal every day of the week has shown that it is good for losing weight. Lots of healthy cereal is rich with fiber and other nutrients. This isn't true for every type of sugary cereal, however. Instead, aim for cereals that have a low amount of sugar, such as Total.

Clench your back and stomach muscles as you walk, and make an effort to maintain it as long as you can. If you quit then you should start it up again when you remember to do so. This can improve your back strength, posture and get you a firm butt.

Do not always believe that products branded as low-fat/calorie are good for you. They may lack nutrients and be full of artificial sweeteners and other chemicals that could damage your metabolism.

Red meat is a big cause of high cholesterol and weight gain. Red meat contains large amounts of cholesterol and saturated fats, which are not very heart-healthy. Replace red meat with leaner choices. Tuna, turkey, salmon and chicken are all lower in fat and calories.

Spineone Patient Review

By Jerome J Hoffman Jerome Hoffman was a patient at SpineOne in Denver, CO. He was violently rear-ended in an automobile accident in 2012 and needed help for acute back and neck pain. The treatment plan devised by the physician that Jerome saw included three main areas - muscle relaxer medicine, PT work done at the SpineOne Rehab Center, and 3 minimally invasive injections that were intended to "kick-start" the healing process - the injections had both steroids to assist in healing and an anesthesia to help with the pain. It took Jerome 2 months before he was feeling confident about the strength of his back and neck. After 4 months, he discontinued the medication and finished the last of the 3 targeted injections. He went to physical Therapy 2-3 times a week, where the focus was strengthening his core and teaching him how to do exercises on his own. The Physical therapist that he worked with was diligent about making sure that Jerome did his "homework" eve...
